municipalities' land use plans (POT), which classify and qualify the territory in accordance with the Municipal Code for a term of 8 years.<\/li><li>Land for development is subdivided into programmed land for development (SUP) and unprogrammed land for development (SUNP). The rustic land is subdivided into common rustic land (SRC) and specially protected rustic land (SREP), and in turn is further subdivided according to the value identified in: specially protected ecological rustic land (SREP-E), specially protected agricultural rustic land (SREP-A), specially protected rustic land for water (SREP-H) and specially protected rustic land for landscape (SREP-P).<\/li><li>The Land Use Plan (PUT 2015) is the planning instrument that governs at a macro level the public policy on the use of land in Puerto Rico, its development and conservation over a 10-year term. The PUT divides the land according to its characteristics and values, existing and potential, through three (3) basic categories established in the Municipal Code (Act 107-2020): urban land (SU), developable land, and rustic land.<\/li><li>The Land Use Plan provides a framework for realigning and improving state agency plans, programs and procedures to achieve their goals and objectives.
