Its main mission is to safeguard the life and property of citizens in emergency or disaster situations. This office plays a crucial role in preparing for, responding to and recovering from various emergency situations, ensuring that the community is protected and well informed.<\/p><p>The O.M.M.E.A.D. is in charge of developing and establishing specific programs that seek to prevent and combat emergency situations and disasters. This includes the implementation of effective and useful measures that allow a quick and coordinated response to any eventuality. In addition, the office is responsible for providing assistance to the community in cases of natural disasters, such as hurricanes, earthquakes and floods, as well as in catastrophic accidents and other emergencies that may jeopardize public safety.<\/p><p>One of the key objectives of the O.M.M.E.A.D. is to provide training and education to the community on the Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) Program. This program is essential to prepare citizens to respond effectively to emergencies, promoting a culture of prevention and resilience. In addition, the office organizes workshops and information sessions on relevant topics such as storms, hurricanes and earthquakes, providing the community with the necessary tools and knowledge to face these events safely.<\/p><p>In short, O.M.M.E.A.D. is not only dedicated to the protection and safety of citizens in emergency situations, but also works proactively to educate and prepare the community.
